Guides / Rental length
How long can you rent Starlink?
Anywhere from a single day to a month or more. It depends on the company. Here's how rental lengths and minimums look on the public pages of companies in our directory, as of late 2026.
We're a directory, not a rental company. We don't rent, ship, or set up kits, and we don't take bookings. Each company sets its own terms, so confirm your dates on its site.
Can you rent Starlink for one day?
Yes, from some companies. CascadiaLink and Optinet both list a one-day option. Star-lend, Star Surf, and LEOLinx quote day rates, and Star-lend says its rate is tiered by how long you rent.
Many companies ship kits to you, though, so a one-day rental still means planning around delivery and return. If you need it for one day, a company with local pickup can be the simpler choice.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Often, yes. Here are minimums that companies state on their own pages:
- Skyway Rentals: two days.
- RoamingBear and Satellite Rentals UK: three days.
- OER Rentals: a five-day Mini package, with extra days added on.
- Global Satellite, Book Baja, and Landwide: seven days.
- Marstar: seven days is typical.
A minimum means you pay for that many days even if your trip is shorter. It's worth checking before you compare day rates.
Can you rent Starlink by the week?
Yes, and it's one of the most common options. CascadiaLink lists one, two, and three weeks. Oz Satellite lists one to four weeks. Optinet, Tel-Loc, Satellite Rentals UK, Skyway Rentals, and Dyal Rental all show a weekly option. For events, WiFit prices a first week with additional weeks after that.
Can you rent Starlink for a month or longer?
Some companies offer monthly rentals. CascadiaLink, Optinet, Tel-Loc, and Dyal Rental list a one-month option, and Satellite Phone Store prices its kits by the month. Install Me Now says it quotes daily, weekend, weekly, and monthly rentals.
If you'll need Starlink for several months, compare the total with owning a kit. Our rent vs buy guide walks through it.
Which length should you choose?
- A weekend or a one-day event: look for a company with no minimum, or a short one, and local pickup.
- A trip of one to three weeks: weekly packages are common, and many companies ship.
- A month or more: look for a monthly option, then weigh it against buying.
Count shipping days on both ends, and ask when the rental clock starts and stops. For prices by region, see Starlink rental cost.
Things you should know
Lengths and minimums come from each company's public pages as of late 2026 and can change without notice. Some companies don't publish terms and quote by request. Confirm dates, deposit, and return cutoff with the company before you book.
